Fantastic second week at the Sunshine Tour

It has been a fantastic second week in Spain despite the bad weather!

We managed to jump for a couple of days on good footing with the 7-year-olds and Loeki Van Het Lindenhof z showed me he is the horse that I have always felt he will be, jumping to amazing rounds. He was however, not to be outdone by the 8-year-olds Kay and Knockout Van’t Paradijs. Kay finished 10th in his first LR Class, and the feel was so good! … Lots of carrots for him tonight!

However, I was equally happy with Knockout.. apart from a pram coming from nowhere into left front view and us wearing a fence as a consequence today he was outstanding… relaxed, scopey and careful. I am excited about the year ahead!

Quelbora Merze had his first 4* Grand Prix outing of the season on the grass arena. He jumped his socks off and despite a mistake from me towards the end of the course, he finished 10th which means we have qualified for the 4* Invitational Grand Prix in week 4.
